A mobile product for practising spoken language across 100+ languages. Speech is recognised on-device, so a learner can practise without a network, and AI-driven feedback fills in the coaching a phrasebook cannot.

  • Offline speech-to-text with Vosk, falling back to the Android recogniser when it helps
  • Conversational AI responses served through AWS Lambda, kept optional so the core loop works unplugged

Patient records and medical files, offline-first.

A clinical records product for managing patients and the pile of images, scans and PDFs that come with them — built to work entirely on-device, where clinic connectivity cannot be assumed.

  • Side-by-side medical image comparison with independent rotation, zoom and save-back at full resolution
  • Attachments across images, PDFs, video and documents, handed off to the right external app
  • Soft-delete recycle bin, multi-field search and an active-patients-first sort that matches how wards actually work

Technology product strategy

Deciding what a platform should become and why — then holding that direction through the architecture, the roadmap and the trade-offs that follow.

What it looks like

  • Turning a vague mandate to "modernise" into a sequenced platform bet with a defensible order
  • Choosing where to build, where to buy, and where the tech debt is worth carrying
  • Roadmaps that survive contact with engineering because the constraints were priced in early

What I bring

Years of sitting between engineering and business on enterprise platforms, accountable to both — and enough hands-on depth to tell an engineering excuse from an engineering reality.

AI-assisted building

Getting working software into the hands of people who were never going to write it themselves. Prototypes in an afternoon, not a quarter.

What it looks like

  • Turning an internal spreadsheet ritual into a small, real tool
  • Prototyping a product idea far enough to test it with actual users
  • Teaching non-engineers to build and ship their own utilities

What I bring

A product manager who writes the prototype instead of specifying it, and knows which corners are safe to cut at that stage.

Supply chain & operations analytics

Simulation, optimisation and clustering applied to inventory, routing and production planning — the modelling that turns an operational argument into a decision.

What it looks like

  • Inventory policy set by stochastic simulation rather than by habit
  • Network, routing and milk-run decisions backed by a model of the actual roads
  • Lead-time and capacity models that make delivery promises defensible

What I bring

Formal training in operations and supply chain analytics, plus years of building these models in Python and Excel for real plants and networks.
